📝 Selection Process
Shortlisting of candidates for Interview will be in the ratio of 1:7 based on valid GATE Scores (not GATE marks or GATE Rank).
The interview will assess candidates on Technical (Academic) Knowledge (40 marks), General Awareness in relevance to the area of Specialisation (technical) (20 marks), Presentation/Communication Skill (20 marks), Comprehension (10 marks), and Academic Achievements (10 marks), totaling 100 marks.
Qualifying criteria for GATE Score and Interview are 50% for UR & EWS candidates (40% for Reserved candidates) and aggregate 60% for UR & EWS (50% for Reserved candidates).
For the final panel, 50% weightage will be given to GATE Scores and 50% weightage to Interview marks.
📖 Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Candidates will be screened-in for Interview on the basis of a valid GATE – 2025 or GATE – 2026 Scores.
The GATE paper and the subject of the qualifying degree must match the disciplines mentioned in the advertisement.
💸 Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of ₹250/- is applicable.
All Women, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-serviceman (EX), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
Payment can be made online through Bharathkosh portal using Internet Banking, UPI, Debit Cards (Domestic), or Credit Cards (Domestic).
The last date for fee payment is 19-08-2026.
🚀 How to Apply
Applications for online registration will be hosted on the ISRO website www.isro.gov.in between 28-07-2026 and 17-08-2026.
Applications will be received online only.
Upon registration, applicants will receive an online Registration Number.
Candidates must provide a correct and compulsory email ID.
Hall tickets/Call letters for written test/interview will be sent by email only.
Candidates are required to upload clear images/scanned copies of their photograph and signature in JPG format, and GATE SCORE card in PDF format.
The photograph must be a recent passport-style colour picture (4.5cm x 3.5cm) against a light-coloured, preferably white background, with dimensions 200x230 pixels (preferred) and size not more than 50kb.
The signature must be on white paper with a black ink pen, with dimensions 140x60 pixels (preferred) and size not more than 50kb.
Candidates should avoid submitting multiple applications for the same post.
Serving Government employees must submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of the interview.
