📝 Selection Process
The selection is based on performance in Stage-I (Computer Based Online Examination), Stage-II (Basic Identity Check, Biometric Verification, Assessment Test, Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification, Recruitment Medical Examination), Stage-III (Basic Identity Checks, Document Verification, Pre-Enrolment Medicals, Submission of Original Documents, Police Verification), and Stage-IV (Verification of Original Documents through Boards/Universities/State government).
Qualification in all stages is compulsory.
📖 Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The selection involves a Computer Based Online Examination (Stage I) with objective type questions and no negative marking.
It consists of various sections (I to V) depending on the post.
Section I covers Maths, Science, English, Reasoning, GK (Class 10th syllabus).
Section II covers Maths and Physics (Class 12th syllabus).
Sections III, IV, V cover Diploma Level Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering respectively.
Passing marks vary by category and section.
Marks are normalized.
💸 Application Fee
Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) for UR/EWS/OBC candidates.
SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
🚀 How to Apply
Candidates must apply online only through https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/cgept/ from 11 Jun 25 (1100 HRS) to 25 Jun 25 (2330 HRS).
They need to register with an E-mail ID/mobile number, upload required documents (recent color photograph, live image capture, scanned signature, Date of Birth proof, Identity proof, Domicile Certificate, Service Certificate/NOC if applicable) during online application.
Additional documents like category certificates, marksheets, and diploma certificates are to be uploaded if shortlisted for Stage-II.
An application fee of Rs. 300/- is required, except for SC/ST candidates who are exempted.
Candidates can apply for only one post.
